Tonight, while Big Brother, Baby Boy and I were in Walmart, we were in the sporting goods section to find an adult-sized baseball glove. We were looking around and had not found it, so we got in line behind two men at the sporting goods desk. Big Brother made me proud–although he did interrupt the customer and employee’s conversation in doing this–he said “Excuse Me, Sir??” (in order to get his attention).
I was pretty shocked, myself. Then I kind of laughed. The two men in front of me turned around and laughed a little too. I am sure it was funny to them to turn around and hear this come from a pint-sized 3 year old.
Later, when saying our goodnights…I made sure to praise Big Brother for this. I told him that I was so proud of him for acting like such a big boy with such wonderful manners. I could tell he was pretty proud of himself also.
